Good for kids, small issues

I got the annual subscription for codeSpark Academy. My daughter really enjoys the logic puzzles and creative coding. The wordless interface is great for younger kids. I did notice some of the multiplayer coding games lagged a bit during peak hours. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about it, but it's still something to improve. Overall, good value though.

Worth it with the trial

I tried codeSpark Academy after getting a 30-day free trial. My son really liked the STEM games. After the trial, I decided to get the annual plan. The price for the year felt like good value compared to other options. It was a good purchase.

Always a solid experience

I renewed my codeSpark Academy annual subscription again last month. It's my third year with them, and honestly, the experience is consistently good. My kids still love the game design tools and the new pet collectibles. Signing up was smooth, just like before. No surprises, which is what I like.

Detailed thoughts on Academy

I purchased a one-year subscription to codeSpark Academy for my two kids a few weeks ago. The ordering process on the website was straightforward; I used a holiday promotion. Immediately after, we downloaded the app. Setup was easy, and the parent dashboard is quite useful for tracking their progress on coding challenges. My youngest, who's 6, picked up the sequence puzzles and loops quickly. My older child enjoys the game design tools and debugging exercises. We had a small issue with one of the printables not downloading correctly, but their support team got back to me within a day with a working link. The creative coding aspect really holds their interest. It's a solid platform for teaching computer science fundamentals, and it works well across our different tablets.
